whiny whine whine
Joseph's birthday party was supposed to be today, but we have to cancel it because he's sick. We thought he just had a cold, but he seems to have picked up some kind of stomach bug as well. I knew he was sick yesterday and I should have just kept him in bed for the day. I'm so so sad. I've spent the last few days getting ready for his party and I've missed work time (which equals money, of course) and spent a bunch of money on stuff that won't get eaten/used now. We really can't afford this. =( My poor baby doesn't get his party. I feel like an overgrown child because I am bummed that I don't get to see people and see him have fun and blow out candles and all of that when really it should be about him being sick. I'm supposed to be the grownup here, right?

I'm going to go sit on the couch and cry now.
