miscellaneous stuff
o Joseph is doing great with the potty. Today he went to the park with the babysitter and peed on the toilet there. We're still having some misses with the poops. He has only had two nighttime misses. He hasn't missed during naptime.

o We had a little make up birthday party with Joseph's playgroup and a few other friends and it was just awesome. We had them over on a Thursday and I fed the kids lunch, they played, and then we had a cake brought over by Sherilyn. I want to write more about it - it worked out so well and Joseph was thrilled.

o My backyard it toddler-safe so Joseph can play out there by himself now. He doesn't do it much yet, but it's nice to have the option open. Notably, we replaced the gate that the neighbor's dog came in through (we had just boarded it up after the event) and it looks great and I no longer have little panic flutters when I look in that direction.

o I need to take pictures of my little veggie garden. It's nothing spectacular, but I'm enjoying it.

o Naomi is awesome. She crawls now. She has 5 teeth. She's starting to sign for nursing.

o Joseph is getting really social and wants to "play with my friends" all of the time. It's sad that there's no preschool in the summer.

o Matt and I are tired and worn out and don't get to do much together anymore. It's frustrating.

o We're all going to the dentist tomorrow. It will be Joseph's first visit. It will be hard because he does not like being messed with. Matt and I have not been in a very long time. I have some kind of bony growth on my upper gums, so I'm a little stressed about that.

o I get to hang out with tellinellen and some other LJ mommas later this month in San Francisco. I'm very excited.
